Team Up Thursday – Off Center

Thursday, September 2nd, 2010

This week Erin and I took off center literally with our shots. I think it’s fun this week we both have people in our shots.

Rachel, this one is for you.

I took this shot on our ride through the Colorado foothills for the High Country Rendezvous. She just happened to be riding right in front of me.

Note the partial horse ear in my shot.

Also note that turning around the in the saddle almost always leaves you a little off center.

Team Up Thursday – OLD

Thursday, August 26th, 2010

Today turned out to be one of those days that just did not go as planned.

So I’m a wee bit late with today’s post.

Introducing my new partner Erin!

Her picture is that wonderful black and white bridge. In the starkness of the shot I feel the age of the bridge. One hopes it’s structure has been checked recently.

I went with a shot of a jumble of wooden crosses found during the Las Golodrinas outing. Aged wood has such wonderful texture.

Morning

Thursday, August 12th, 2010

I love Marty’s shot, morning literally. Morning light is so lovely.

My morning shot is of a kiva oven at El Rancho de Las Golodrinas. It was about 10:15 in the morning so I thought it would qualify.

A woman mixed and shaped bread to bake in this oven for later in the afternoon.
