Peeking In

Rarely do I have the opportunity to travel with my husband when he’s working. I remember those old dating days and how we often went from client to client to client in an afternoon. Kids make that hard nowadays.

Sneaking in a little time one Sunday afternoon, my step daughter agreed to babysit Off we went on errands.

While flipping through a Back in the Saddle magazine the 3 other horses in the corral sidled up to the truck. The palomino’s curiosity resulted in his head in my window.

Nibbling at my pant leg in search of treats I scratched his nose and off he went to circle the truckagain. He came back often to visit while contemplated couch covers and christmas gifts.

I had a tough time editing this shot as the flash on my ‘Zine really didn’t like the shadows in the truck. So I boosted the color a bit and smudged the background and called it good.

Isn’t it adorable when they can’t resist their curiosity? We have a young’un in the pasture now, and his antics are fun to watch… and man does he want to get into EVERYTHING. Great shots!

Both shots turned out great – makes me wish I could reach out and pet them! :)

These are so cute! I want to pet them, too.
