I have to admit this picture looks just fine in color.
However, I’ve always loved Ansel Adams prints so turning it to black and white tickled me to see how it turned out.
I like it.

I Heart Faces offered up photojournalism this week for their challenge. Our definition of Photojournalism for the sake of this challenge: Using an image (or images) to tell a story.
Looking through hundreds of pictures what I found interesting turned out to be how many stood alone rather than tell a story.
I suppose a shot of leaving the truck and then returning to the truck from this hike would have book ended this collage nicely.
However, I found W.W.’s interests on the hike told a different story.

Today turned out to be one of those days that just did not go as planned.
So I’m a wee bit late with today’s post.
Introducing my new partner Erin!
Her picture is that wonderful black and white bridge. In the starkness of the shot I feel the age of the bridge. One hopes it’s structure has been checked recently.
I went with a shot of a jumble of wooden crosses found during the Las Golodrinas outing. Aged wood has such wonderful texture.
