New Mexico Greetings I

Monday, December 21st, 2009

With the holidays a mere few days away I’ve decided to share a little of New Mexico’s winter over the next few days.

While visiting the Sandhill Cranes one early evening my Dad took some wonderful photographs. With a little assistance from photo shop I turned them into a potential card or even e-card for you to send to someone special.

Dressed in Red

My Mom asked for a picture of the boys to include with their Christmas cards.

Don’t look at me, if anyone sees a fancy envelope in their mail box it didn’t get mailed from my house. All good intentions mean squat when you can’t find the time to create the card, print the pictures then write a note on the inside.

If only I could get my Mom to send her card to the handful of friends I have too.

W.W. has become quite delighted with holding E.C. lately. With the early afternoon sun streaming through our windows I snapped this shot. The fact they’re both wearing red is purely accidental.

I started going abstract then decided to add a little bit of the holiday with a few ornaments thrown in. I see it as a celebration of sorts, no more class until January 19, 2010.

Fleetingly I thought I might catch up with all the crafts and photographys left undone. Then I realized it’s Christmas!

With no homework to blame I still see myself falling behind with photo albums undown and a languishing sewing machine.

But, I squeezed in Dolce’s play with a little twist. I found these fun backgrounds over at Devient, Alice in Wonderland themed. If you look close you might find a few hearts merged in with all the other layers.

You can find the original here.
